Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford has some iconic movies under his belt, playing some of the most loved characters to hit the big screen. Yet he is also known for being in the not-so-successful end of the box office ladder with some really bad movies. With Harrison starring in the upcoming Ender’s Game (released 1 November 2013), and his role in the next Star Wars: Episode VII (which he would never admit to) he may be on an upward trend once again.

We decided to look at 6 Movies Harrison Ford Will Star in Next :

1. Ender’s Game

Enders Game is based on Orson Scott Card’s Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novel, Ender’s Game looks at Earth just 40 years after the planet had staved off an alien invasion. In order to prepare for the next inevitable attack, prodigy children are recruited and trained by the military. Andrew “Ender” Wiggin emerged as earth’s best hope to lead the next battle.

Harrison Ford appears together with a host of other big Hollywood names in the second Anchorman movie. They include Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jim Carrey and Kanye West. They will join the San Diego news team that will reassemble for a sequel to the 2004 hit comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Director Adam McKay returns to bring the cast of Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, and Paul Rudd up into the 1980s.

In an interview Mr Burgundy himself  discussed how it felt to work with Harrison Ford:

“It’s stupid why he would want to do it,” he says.”Bless him. We worked a 16-hour-long day with him, and the whole day we just couldn’t believe it was Harrison Ford!”

The third Expendables movie will without a doubt be the biggest in the franschise if you look at the number of popular cast members added. It’s a pity that Bruce Willis left though due to money disputes. We’re still not clear on Harrison Ford’s role, but we can only assume he will play an ‘old hand’ that proves his worth at some point in the movie.

4. You Belong to Me

  • Starring: Harrison Ford and Zac Efron

Not much has been said of this movie, which makes us wonder if this will still go ahead. The thriller stars Zac Efron as a man who after his sister’s suicide develops a close relationship with her psychiatrist, played by Harrison Ford. The film is directed by Rob Reiner.

Zac has raised a few eyebrows in his upcoming movie ‘That awkward momentwhere he is completely naked.

5. Indiana Jones 5

  • Director: Steven Spielberg

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are bringing a fifth instalment of Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeouf return as father and son for another archaeological adventure. There is no news or dates available yet.  Even though Indy may be getting REALLY to old for this, it’s still awesome seeing him don the Fedora and Whip.
