Mel Gibson is kicking dust in the eyes of young Hollywood, showing some major “guns” in California last week. The 57 year old actor is proving that age is nothing but a number. The “Lethal Weapon” actor was showing off his toned physique when he was spotted leaving a gym in Los Angeles on Friday, August 16.

On Monday, it was announced that Gibson had joined the old school hero cast of “Expendables 3” with Harrison Ford. Gibson will play the villain Conrad Stonebanks. Additional new-comers joining the team Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas and Kellan Lutz have also been confirmed.
Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising their roles. A press release by Lionsgate and Millennium Films revealed the plotline behind the anticiptad action film, due out in 2014.
