The first creepy trailer for the “The Town That Dreaded Sundown” has been released. The film is a reboot of the original horror pic of the same name released on Christmas Eve in 1976. Based on actual events, the horror remake is produced by Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum, starring Addison Timlin as the girl who becomes the boogeyman’s messenger. Murphy, (as most horror geeks will know) is one of the master minds behind FX’s American Horror Story. It is clear from the trailer that his influence is splashed all over the visuals and overall feel. It’s been nearly 40 years since the town of Texarkana has seen the return of the “moonlight murders” on the big screen. The town is struck with fear while no one knows for certain if they are dealing with a copycat killer, or is there something more sinister out there planning to take them down one by one?
