The first official trailer for Kevin Smith’s horror flick “Tusk” has been released. That’s right geeks, the Horror movie comes from the mind that brought us the brilliant low-budget comedy Clerks and buddy cop action comedy “Cop Out”. It goes without saying that we love Smith’s work for his abundance of creative ideas and always pursuing ways to make us think out the box, even with his comic books and comedy shows. Best known for playing Silent Bob in many movies, he really pushed his creative boundaries to produce something that seems out the ordinary for a Horror movie.

He recently completed the script for “Tusk”, which is based on an online ad about a man who rents out a room in his house for free, as long as the person dresses as a walrus for two hours per day. He says we can expect “the cuddly version of The Human Centipede,” showing  “Michael Parks in a f@#ked up story, where he could recite some Lewis Carroll and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner to some poor mother@#ker sewn into a realistic walrus costume.” Interested yet?

The story follows Justin Long’s Wallace Bryton, a podcaster who gets captured by a mad man (Parks). When Bryton never returns home, his girlfriend Allison (Genesis Rodriguez) and best friend Teddy (Haley Joel Osment) decide to look for him. Bryton decided to meet with the experienced  seafarer called Howard Howe, to land an interview but ended up playing out the biggest story of his own life. Bryton is doctored into a Walrus with a series of painful surgeries. We will have to wait for a red band trailer if we want to see more of the horror pic, this looks truly terrifying!

“Tusk” is set to be released on September 19.
