Warner Bros. producer Daniel Alter recently revealed that a semi-retired Bruce Wayne will be using robots to assist him in his cause to combat crime, he also confirms Nightwing (aka Robin) and his estrangement from Batman. The juicy rumor is shared by movieweb.com via a Twitter comment made by Alter, he tweeted:

“Can’t wait for #BatmanvsSuperman.. #batfleck semi-retired/not speaking to Robin anymore.. Controlling drones from the batcave,”

Come to think of it maybe the rumor is on to something considering that Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara once said that the caped crusader will be “tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for awhile.” Maybe Ben Affleck (Batman) will not be hated after all if his drones will do most of his work, we need to humor this just a little bit considering the thousands of unhappy fans who launched a petition to remove him as Batman.

It was mentioned before that Batman will be "tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for awhile."

Coming back to the confirmation of Nightwing (aka Robin), Penn Badgley, Ezra Miller, and Adam Driver are reportedly considered to portray Batman’s former sidekick. Olga Kurylenko, Gal Gadot and Elodie Yung are said auditioning for Batman’s love interest rumored to be Diana Prince or better known as Wonder Woman.

Ben Affleck will co-star with Henry Cavill who will reprise his role as the “Man of Steel”. The villainous master mind Lex Luthor will also make an appearance, latest rumors suggest that Terry O’Quinn is earmarked for the role.  The “Man of Steel” sequel is due July 17, 2015.
