“The Toxic Avenger” is the tale of nerdy high-school kid who is exposed to toxic waste by a corrupt chemical company. He survives the ordeal with one major side effect: upon contact with toxic chemicals, he transforms into a monster with superhuman strength. We are anxiously waiting to see what the boys are going to come up with next. It is hard to not enjoy the Expendables, especially seeing all the old school action heroes kicking-but and taking names. The 80’s produced the most iconic action heroes and we are pleased to see another installment of the “one liner kings” on the big screen. This might be our last change to see the gang together for one final action packed film. Stallone is still playing with ideas for the third installment.
Stallone said:
“We are thinking about different concepts – the third one is the hardest. The second is the natural progression. The third, that’s when the air gets rare. We’re thinking ambitiously about it… You now have to give audiences something they don’t expect at all – maybe even going into a different genre. “
5. Terminator 5

Release Date:
TBA 2015
Studio:
Paramount Pictures

Megan Ellison, David Ellison

Laeta Kalogridis, Patrick Lussier
Starring:
Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator
The Story: (TBC)
Seeing Schwarzenegger back to reprise his role as “The Terminator” will be tricky, considering his age and the number of years gone by since the James Cameron directed original. It will be interesting to see how they will incorporate the character and to what degree the T800 will influence the final outcome of the film. Hollywood had a fair swing at trying to revive the franchise with numerous squeals and a series. Critical reaction for “Terminator Salvation” was predominantly negative as many fans expected more from what seemed like the final installment to wrap-up the cult classic franchise.
That being said, there are many questioned regarding the direction Terminator 5 might take:
1. Will this be the final battle to conclude the franchise?
2. Will the story-line include the attempt to kill young John Connor and the Resistance?
3. Can we expect a post-Judgement Day story-line to mark a reboot of the franchise? (would be awesome!)
4. Can we expect a “young blood” approach with new faces to continue the fight against Skynet?
The successful formula for T1 and T2 should be considered, the rawness and edgy feel with suspense and sense of urgency was something that kept me in the seats. GeekShizzle will keep you posted of any new developments and information as it is released.
