Paramount Pictures has decided to team up with Annapurna and Skydance to continue the fight against Skynet. Yes……Arnie is reprising his role in Terminator 5 to try and recapture the good old days when people were still excited to see him on the big screen. Don’t get me wrong, I have always been an Arnold Schwarzenegger fan due to the old action films which had its place back in the day, however it will be best to hang up the sunglasses and leather jacket.

Terminator 2 – Judgement Day

The lack of originality is continuing as Hollywood pushes forward with yet another Terminator to menace us. This release, will without a doubt, join the list of sequels, reboots, prequels and remakes that we are not looking forward to. We will have to see what is in store to raise the expectations.

Terminator 5 is being written by Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis with filming expected to take place in 2014.

Update: 

“Terminator 5” has officially been marked on our radar for future productions to keep an eye on. The production studios announced that “Terminator 5” will be the first installment, part of a reboot in a planned stand-alone trilogy. In addition to this,  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is rumored to likely face off against Arnold Schwarzenegger. Unfortunately no additional details are available regarding Schwarzenegger’s character, however it has been mentioned that the trilogy will most likely source a new and younger cast to champion the franchise. No offence Arnie, we will always love you, GeekShizzle will keep you posted.
