It’s been a while since we’ve received any updates confirming any possible future release dates for the highly anticipated “Justice League” movie. The pic is finally confirmed with Greg Silverman (Warner Bros president of worldwide production) announcing that the movie featuring multiple superheroes will be helmed by Zack Snyder. It is long rumoured that members of the Justice League will be making cameos in Synder’s upcoming “Man of Steel“sequel. The crossover movie was originally set to be released on July 17, 2015, but now it is moved back to May 6, 2016. ‘The Man of Steel 2′ sequel was apparently moved back due to Ben Affleck’s Rib Injury?

It was officially announced that the filmmakers require more time to figure things out, especially with ongoing rumors suggesting that Justice League members like Aquaman, Flash, Nightwing and Green Lantern are set to make appearances in the crossover movie featuring Batman and Superman. This makes more sense with the announcement that Snyder will be helming his third DC pic. More time and careful consideration will be required to setup the Justice league introduction taking in to account that the “Justice League” movie is set to follow “Man of Steel 2”.

Silverman says:

“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” ” ‘Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League’

The one thing we should be asking ourselves…. what if the sequel bombs at the box office? We have seen the articles suggesting that bookies agree with angry fans who signed a petition saying that Ben Affleck is bad News for “Man of Steel 2″. The odds of “Man of Steel 2″ failing to become the highest-grossing film of 2015 are 1/1. Affleck’s addition to the cast had a huge impact on the overall odds, before Affleck was cast the odds was stacked at 11/4 for “Man of Steel 2” to be a success. Like it or not, if “Man of Steel 2” will lead into ‘Justice League’, shouldn’t the studio be a little concerned with the negative publicity and fan outrage surrounding the sequel? The success of the Justice League movie might be tied to fans expectations of the “Man of Steel” sequel!?
