We have seen countless reports suggesting who we can expect in the much-anticipated ‘Star Wars Episode 7’ pic. Despite all the casting rumors, J.J. Abrams and Disney have remained extremely tight-lipped even thought reputable sources have claimed that big names are in the running for the coveted roles. The folks over at Cinemablend.com reveals that “Lost and The Lord of the Rings co-star Dominic Monaghan appeared on the video podcast Dweebcast, and opened up about his relationship with Abrams and the director’s approach to this material.”

Monaghan said:

“We talked about it a few times. Once I knew that he was doing ‘Star Wars’ I sent him a little congratulatory message and stuff,”

“We’ve talked a few times about it and he said ‘We’re putting together a cast of essentially unknowns. We want to follow the ’77 ‘New Hope’ cast’.”

He added:

“Because obviously Harrison Ford wasn’t well known at that point, Mark Hamill wasn’t and Carrie Fisher wasn’t either. What he said was, ‘We don’t want to fall into that mistake of people going ‘Oh it’s that guy from that thing!’ and then you’re completely out of the ‘Star Wars’ universe.’ “

Rumors suggest that we should prepare for a younger generation of Jedi taking the fight forward against the Dark Side.  Additional rumors also suggest that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming flick. Adding fuel to the fire, there is a saucy rumor suggesting that Carrie Fisher is set to join the ‘Star Wars Episode 7′ production in London for Six Months.

“Star Wars: Episode VII” will be release in theaters on December 18, 2015.
