She’s the beauty from South Africa that blasted onto the Hollywood A-list with her Oscar-winning performance in Monster. She was born 7 August 1975 and is a South African and American actress, producer, and fashion model. She starred in early films in the late 1990s, such as The Devil’s Advocate (1997), Mighty Joe Young (1998) and The Cider House Rules (1999). Theron received critical acclaim for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in Monster (2003), for which she won an Academy Award.

Charlize gave a stellar performance as the Evil queen in the Snow White and the Huntsman remake. The spin-off is a go and she will be back with a yet undisclosed role. New Director Cedric Nicolas-Troyan is relatively unknown to us, but he will also be directing the Highlander reboot. Huntsman is an official spin-off from the previous movie.

Still in development, Charlize Theron will produce and star in the remake of the Korean hit Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. With the blessing of the original film’s director Park Chan-Wook, Theron will portray the title character who gets out of prison to seek revenge on those who done her wrong. 4. Hancock 2

Will Smith will play superhero once again in Hancock 2. The sequel will explore the background of his 30,000-year-old immortal character. Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara are scripting for the film directed by Peter Berg. Charlize Theron will also reprise her role in the sequel.

The film is adapted and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah’s Key).

6. The Last Face

  • Director: Sean Penn

Javier Bardem and Charlize Theron star in the romance The Last Face. Bardem plays a doctor who must choose between his love for a relief worker and his dedication to saving lives in war-torn Africa. Sean Penn directs from a script by Erin Dignam. Seeing as the Charlize and Sean are no longer an item, tempers were apparently very  heated on set between the two previously lovers. We have yet to confirm if this movie will be completed.
