It seems that the rumored solo movie for Ben Affleck’s “The Batman” made quite an impression on Daniel Radcliffe. The “Harry Potter” star said that he would be thrilled to join the Caped Crusader if there is any truth to the Batman reboot rumors. The 24-year-old actor sat down with Buzzfeed recently for an interview, he revealed his interest in the DC franchise during a “rapid fire” Q&A session.

When asked if he’d want to join another franchise, Radcliffe said:

“Batman. If they reboot that again I’ll do that too. It’s happening, isn’t it? With Ben Affleck. I could be Robin, I’m perfect.”

Radcliffe’s comment about a possible Batman reboot is due to saucy rumors suggesting that the Caped Crusader will get his own solo movie starring Affleck. Thanks to Hollywood reporter Nikki Finke’s new website, we have reason to believe that Warner Bros and DC Comics are ready to make big DC movie announcements at San Diego Comic Con this year. Seven standalone DC comic movies were revealed with release dates slated till 2018. There is no mention of a Batman standalone flick in the pipeline, however the rumor suggests that the next Batman solo movie will be set for 2019.

Gotham’s billionaire crime fighter is set to appear in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League”, set to be released in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
