The friendly guys over at Hitfix.com are pretty sure that we’re going to see the “King of Atlantis” in the upcoming 2016 DC production, “Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice”. The latest report emerges two months after Jason Momoa, better known as Khal Drogo on HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, was rumoured to have joined the “Batman Vs Superman” pic. The buff actor has been rumored to join the DC pic for the last six months.

Hitfix.com had the following to say:

“While Warner Bros. hasn’t made that announcement officially yet, HitFix can confirm that he will be playing the part, and that Zack Snyder has already finalized his designs for the character so shooting can take place soon.”

Furthermore, the site also confirms earlier reports that Aquaman will not be thrilled with the outcome of “Man of Steel”, since the big showdown and what it did to the Indian Ocean. They claim that we can expect Momoa to portray a character that will carry the traits of the “King of Atlantis” but no confirmation is available pinning the actor as “Aquaman”. Momoa is rumored to take on a small role as “Aquaman” with the intention of introducing his character in order for him to return in the Justice League movie.

Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, while Ben Affleck is suiting up to take on the role as the Dark Knight for the first time. Amy Adams will reprise her role as Lois Lane, and Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman. “Man of Steel 2″ is set to be released on May 6, 2016.
