The iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S is on the way in less than a month. The possible introduction of the S-Pen stylus with the release of the iPhone 6 may be the answer to capture some of the business Samsung has acquired with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. There might be more in store as the rumors surface of what can be expected.
Some rumors indicate the following:
…
Increase security features by adding a fingerprint scanner courtesy of Authentec, a company acquired by Apple. The iOS 7 beta version hinted the inclusion of fingerprint sensor.
We may see changes to the home button to accommodate the fingerprint scanner. According to reports, a sapphire home button will replace the conventional plastic button of iPhone. Rumour has it that the home button may slightly protrude outward in order to fit the fingerprint scanner.
High End Specs and Features
In addition the iPhone 6 is expected to come with an A7 quad core chip; Near Field Communication; 13MP back camera; up to 128GB internal storage and longer battery life. Currently doing the rounds are the rumors that the iPhone 6 will have a 4.8in screen, which would make the phone similar in size to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. At this screen size, Apple could then move to a Full HD (1,920×1,080) resolution or even go beyond.
Audio-only FaceTime calls over 4G LTE is rumored, automatic updates and increased battery capacity to compensate for the inclinometer, which uses a lot of battery power.
…
Typically, Apple products are released around two weeks after the launch event, so we could expect to see the next iPhone around the end of September or very early October. The best guess is that this will be the iPhone 5S, while we’ll get the iPhone 6 in probably in 2014.
We still need to see what the iPhone 6 has in store, its specs and features have not been disclosed. The new addition to the existing impressive line-up will be awesome if all that is rumored makes its way to the retailers.
