There is yet another hot rumor coming from the Latino-Review camp suggesting that we can expect Brainiac to villainize The “Justice League” movie. This is the first time we have seen reports that the super-intelligent alien will be joining the mix of badies to take on the band of superheroes. Earlier rumors claimed that Darkseid is the first in line to antagonize the super team, but Warner Bros. is apparently saving the ruler of Apokolips and Darkseid’s Elite for later instalments. Furthermore, Brainiac’s appearance is rumored to be teased at the end of the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie.

Added rumors suggest that Brainiac was also alerted when Superman activated the Kryptonian ship in “Man of Steel“. This seems like a good fit to introduce the villainous creature, but something tells me we can expect a hell of a lot more from director Zack Snyder with the entire Justice League on standby. Surely Brainiac will not be the only concern if the Justice League is required to pitch in for the fight? ‘”Justice League” is set to be released on March 25, 2016.

For those of you not in the know, here is a good description for Brainiac (via dc.wikia.com)

“Brainiac is a super-intelligent alien being from the planet Colu who has fought Superman many times. Extremely advanced mental abilities that have allowed him to work through numerous robotic and even human proxies make him a dangerously formidable opponent. It is difficult to tell whether you’re dealing with the original Brainiac, or one of his drones. His obsession with knowledge has led him to shrink down many cities to bottle size for transportation on his Skull Ship, including Kandor on Krypton. He is a frequent ally of Lex Luthor and has been a member of the Anti-Justice League. Brainiac was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino, first appearing in Action Comics #242. (1958)“
