Channing Tatum had his fair share of hits and misses with movies. Most of us would have seen him first in Step Up, and the successful romantic film The Vow, he has since dabbled in multiple genres with movies such as G.I.Joe and 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike. Channing remains a huge fan favorite mainly due to his sense of humor in hilarious videos such as the 13 million views strong “(I wanna) Channing my Tatum” with Jamie Fox and the most recent “Van Damme Split Spoof“. We also know that Channing would love to Play Gambit one day in X-Men, after he told Total Film in an interview that playing Gambit will be a dream come true.

In the epic Love and Honor Channing Tatum will star as Kieran Selkirk, an American soldier who travels to Russia at the bequest of Benjamin Franklin to try and persuade Russia’s Catherine the Great to not support the British side in America’s quest for freedom. According to Vulture, Anne Hathaway has been offered the role of Beatrice, a servant to Catherine the Great who becomes Selkirk’s love interest.

4. Brotherhood of Rose

Dubbed as a sci-fi epic, the story revolves around a man who is able to travel through different dimensions of earth in order to find his reincarnated lover. Ion has a premise that sounds like a slight tweak to the ideas behind Quantum Leap, The Fountain, Sliders, The Time Machine and Fringe.
Great news is that brothers Ridley and Tony Scott are reportedly attached to produce Ion through their Scott Free production company.
6. Neverland aka Peter Pan

Channing Tatum will star in the fantasy Pan about the origins of Peter Pan. Captain Hook will be re-imagined as Pan’s estranged brother.
7. 22 Jump Street

Not much is known about the plot for the sequel to 21 Jump Street. In 22 Jump Street , after making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt and Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college. Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller crafted a wonderfully peculiar and hilarious comedy that benefited from some excellent chemistry between stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. This recipe worked perfectly for 21 Jump Street, and we don’t see why this won’t work for 22 Jump Street.
8. Magic Mike 2

Channing Tatum is working on a sequel to his 2012 hit Magic Mike where the dancers will take a road trip. Although the first Magic Mike felt more like a stripper documentary, it pulled in the crowds (Female crowds naturally). We see the sequel to be of similar sorts, with the same female viewer base.
9. Gambit / X-Men: Apocalypse?

After months of rumors and speculation, it has been confirmed by X-Menproducer Lauren Shuler Donner that Channing Tatum will indeed play Gambit in an upcoming X-Men film. Whether that will be a standalone film or X-Men: Apocalypse or some other X-Men film remains to be seen. We really didn’t care for Taylor Kitsch’s portrayal of Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Tatum also seems to love Gambit as a character, and we would rather have somebody who knows the source material play the character than somebody who knows nothing.

10. Unknown True Crime Thriller
There is an untitled crime thriller in the works with Channing Tatum attached as the star and producer. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the “22 Jump Street” actor and his partner Reid Carolin is onboard to produce the movie along with the 86th Academy Awards’ producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
The site says the pic will be set in the late 1970s and will be based on an “inspiring true story of an ordinary family man who decides to risk everything by going undercover to take down the biggest mob boss in the country.” Zadan and Meron will be joined by frequent collaborator Kristin Gore who is tapped to write the script. Some might say Tatum is risking everything to take on this project, do you guys think he has the acting chops to pull this off?
11. The Lego Movie

The movie starring the minifigures follows Emmet who is mistaken as being the Master Builder. Soon everyone’s hopes rests on the shoulders of the ordinary guy to save the Lego universe. He is joined by Batman and Wonder Woman to name a few as they prepare to defeat the evil tyrant Lord Business who wants to glue Lego world together.
Emmet will be voiced by Chris Pratt, Will Arnett is Batman, Cobie Smulders is Wonder Woman, and Will Ferrell is Lord Business. Channing Tatum (Superman) and Jonah Hill (Green Lantern) will also make cameos. In addition to the all-star cast voicing the film, Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks and Liam Neeson will also be voicing characters in the stop-motion comedy film.
