GeekShizzle raided the interwebs for some additional info since Deadpool depicter Ryan Reynolds revealed that he wants the upcoming “Deadpool” movie to be rated R. The “Green Lantern” actor tweeted on Monday, March 30 that he is “Fighting the good fight still” to give fans the opportunity to enjoy a gritty and fun filled comic book movie. We have come a long way since June last year when test footage of the “merch with a mouth” was released. The internet exploded with thousands of fans singing praises of the CGI footage which led to a fast track project at Fox to greenlit the film. Simon Kinberg is producing with Lauren Shuler Donner for a release date slated early 2016. Morena Baccarin is cast as the female lead opposite Renolds, and Gina Carano is set to play Angel Dust, a mutant whose ability allows her to elevate her adrenaline levels to provide her with super strength.
