The upcoming “Tarzan” reboot starring Alexander Skarsgard as the titular character has received an official release date. Skarsgard will be supported by Margot Robbie as his love interest, Jane. “Django Unchained” veterans Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz will also be seen in supporting roles. The upcoming movie is set to be released on July 1, 2016.

The film helmed by “Harry Potter” director David Yates, will face-off against the “Independence Day” sequel and “Angry Birds” movie. “Ice Age 5” and “Planet of the Apes 3” is expected to be released later that month on July 15 and July 29 respectively.
