Zac Efron recently confirmed that he had a meeting with Disney to discuss a possible role in the hotly-anticipated “Star Wars Episode 7”. In an interview with MTV while promoting his new movie “That Awkward Moment”, the former Disney star confirmed he had the meeting, he said:
“Yeah, I just went and met with them,” “So I don’t know. It would be cool. I love [the Star Wars movies], I love them, but… who knows?”
Director J.J. Abrams has remained very tight-lipped about the casting announcement and storyline. Rumor suggests that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are expected to reprise their roles as, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia respectively. Many names have been dropped in the “Episode 7” casting hat with no confirmation. Jesse Plemons, Sullivan Stapleton, Saoirse Ronan, Chloe Moretz, Alex Pettyfer, Rachel Hurd-Wood and Ryan Gosling are among the few rumored to take on roles.

“‘Star Wars Episode 7” is set to be released on December 18, 2015. Two sequels are set to follow for 2017 and 2019 releases respectively.
