If you guessed that someone else will be taken again, you are absolutely right! The movie franchise about Liam Neeson’s former CIA agent that involves kidnapping, blood, guts, gore and the Neeson kicking serious ass is back with ‘Taken 3’. The latest reports suggest that Forest Whitaker is eyed for the third instalment. The role he will portray has not been revealed, but Whitaker as an addition to the cast ensemble will add the required star power to reel in audiences for a third time.

As far as the storyline is concerned, the only thing we know is someone will be taken, again. In all honesty, the fact that Neeson is reprising his role is reason enough for me to make an evening out of it with a big box of popcorn and a large soda.

Besson and Robert Mark Kamen who wrote the first two films are set to return to pen the script. “Taken 2” helmer Olivier Megaton is also expected to serve behind the lens for the third one.  Neeson’s on-screen daughter Maggie Grace is expected to reprise her role.

We can’t blame 20th Century Fox for taking another swing at this with Neeson as the star. The “Taken” franchise grossed over $576 million collectively for the first two installments.
