“Ender’s Game” snuck in at first place at the North American box office with $28 million after three days of domestic releases. $28 million is not a bad start in many books, however considering that the movie cost $110 million to make some might say they have their work cut out over the next couple of weeks. Not making things easier for the movie based on Orson Scott Card’s best-selling book of the same name, “Thor: The Dark World” will open next weekend Stateside and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is set to follow two weeks later.
