Jess Greenberg is a London-based singer, songwriter and guitarist. She has been playing the guitar for around eight years and has been singing for as long as she can remember. She is one of many YouTube sensations out there, boasting many covers for some of our favorite bands and artist. The talented young lady was recently announced as the winner of the Totally Covered Summer contest, with her acoustic version of Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky”.

Honestly, she’s just using her boobs to get more views and fame. I don’t think there’s even a video where she’s not showing cleavage. She has a good voice overall. But if it wasn’t for that massive cleavage, she wouldn’t be famous at all. Overall, I think she’s just an attention whore.

Nonsense. She’s only 18 years old…she plays well and will get better…she sings well, very good pitch and rhythm…excellent timing. Triple threat. Looks, voice and she can rock a guitar. The body is a bonus. She has raw talent and raw sex appeal…nothing about her is average.
She’s definitely not average, but we have to agree that if it wasn’t for her looks her popularity may not have been what it is. There are tons of talented musicians out there with ten times the talent and half the looks.. and the world has never heard of them.
Her Looks aside, this girl has excellent taste in music and she can play some of the cult classic songs without blinking. Saying she has “fame” for being beautiful is stating the obvious. I can think of 10 artists that are famous today with half her talents based on looks alone. I would love to see some of the people making comments about her “average” skills to pull off half of what she is doing on her average acoustic guitar whilst singing. She is not in a studio for starters and considering the poor audio quality she still impresses.
All of the comments that say she’s only popular because of her looks are from people that don’t know how to evaluate musical skills. She is a talented and good looking, why shouldn’t she flaunt it. This is good self marketing. In today’s world you need to use everything you got to help you get ahead. She would be an idiot for not showing off her good looks. Dudes, give her a break, she is playing rock n roll, not interviewing for a corporate desk job. Maybe, you should’ve told Robert Plant to wear a shirt on stage back in the 70’s, since according to you, it is inappropriate to for a rock musician to perform without a shirt on.
Your comments are on point! YouTube has provided a platform for anyone with talent to flaunt it. Back in the day rock bands us to do the outrageous outfits, permed hair, makeup and crazy on stage antics. Biting of the head of a bat is not required to get major attention anymore. If you are lucky enough to be blessed with good looks and it so happens that you can sing and bend strings to awesome rock songs…go ahead and flaunt it.
She is way over average when it comes to the guitar, anyone who says different does not play the guitar themself, it’s that simple.
She’s also showing her cleavage, excellent, who cares? Why shouldn’t she? None of you would call her a “whore” to her face, because she isn’t one.
There is nothing wrong with showing some skin, like Joseph wrote, go back and complain about all the rockers in the 70s showing off their CHESTs.

She might be above average at guitar if you include all the people who have never touched a guitar, but if you only look at the sample of people who have played for 8 years she is average. I’m not hating, good for her and best of luck to her, but just because you suck at guitar doesn’t mean she’s a phenom.
yes she is very talented and this is coming from a musicians point of view…if you close your eyes and look away you still hear a gifted voice and a guitar that keeps good time to meter…not perfect but good. Jess just happens to be Beautiful and talented she has the full package to take her singing career a long way

She is the epitome of human evolution to my eyes, she has a lovely voice and she can play guitar. I don’t see anything wrong with her existing right now as a 19-year old.

She is talented, sure, but I also think she has some serious insecurities about her talent; otherwise why would she feel the need to show so much skin just to get views on YouTube? There are a lot of talented female musicians out there who got further in their careers without selling their bodies like that.

if I was to be just walking by minding my own business and she was playing the guitar and singing on the street, let say New York, where it’s a lot more liberal in a sense, I wouldn’t take great notice, I’ve seen a girl play topless in Manhattan, so she wouldn’t be a big deal, but her musicianship would amaze me, only because It’s reallly rare you see a sexy girl playing rock on a guitar, that can sing and play that well. Usually girls that look like that are either models or actresses. So she’s really a rariety.
