As mentioned previously we’re completely addicted to the iTunes chart topping iOS game Clash of Clans. Clash of Clans is currently charting on just about every iTunes store list. Pretty amazing for a free game, receiving all of its cash from in-app purchases.
Clash of Clans is an addictive mixture of strategic planning and competitive fast-paced combats. Raise an army of Barbarians, War Wizards, Dragons and other mighty fighters. Join a clan of players and rise through the ranks, or create your own Clan to contest ownership of the Realm. Driving back the goblins is just the first step – your quest isn’t over until your clan reigns supreme over all others!
So it’s 3 months into the first time we played, and we have not yet stopped checking into our base daily, upgrading and farming (attacking). It is extremely tempting to spend actual cash on this game in the form of purchasing gems, but we’ve managed to resist, and we pride ourselves in playing the patient game in upgrading our units and base defences gradually.
If you are looking for tutorials and guides on how to improve your game then look no further. There are countless of guides out there and video tutorials that shows you how to best build your base denseness, how to attack and what to upgrade to next.

1. The first place you want to go to is the official Supercel Clash of Clans community forum. There’s plenty of user queries, advice and tutorials on issues current users are sitting with, and how to best overcome them.
2. The second place you need to go to is clashofclanstactics. This is a very useful site that takes you through all the offensive and defensive units, best base layouts, and strategies.
3. The third and probably the most important resource for advancing in Clash of Clans is learning from the best. On the clash of clans Wiki you can follow some of the best clanners out there and follow their recommendations. We recommend Flammy, he created a very useful and in detail strategy guide on all areas of the game, as well as uploading Youtube videos that take you through it all.
