With Tom Cruise’s Sci-Fi Epic Oblivion achieving a not-so-spectacular-but-still-good second week at the Box Office, we’re starting to look towards his next movie endeavors. Tom Cruise had some serious flops in the past, but generally when you see his name on a movie poster you are guaranteed a great film, and at least your money’s worth. What can we look forward to next from Tom Cruise? He seems to be involved with a multitude of projects. Whether all of these will see the silver screen is unknown.
Here’s 10 Great Movies Tom Cruise Will star in Next:
1. Edge of Tomorrow aka ‘All You Need is Kill’
Phase: Post Production with 6 June 2014 release date

* Update: First Action-Packed Trailer for Edge of Tomorrow
* Update: More Photos from ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ with Tom Cruise
The film is based on the Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. It also stars Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. Humanity is at war with an alien race known as Mimics, and Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat until he is unceremoniously demoted and then dropped—untrained and ill-equipped—into what amounts to little more than a suicide mission. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an Alpha down with him. But, impossibly, he awakens back at the beginning of the same hellish day, and is forced to fight and die again…and again. Direct physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop—dooming him to live out the same brutal combat over and over.
But with each pass, Cage becomes tougher, smarter, and able to engage the Mimics with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), who has lain waste to more Mimics than anyone on Earth. As Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated battle becomes an opportunity to find the key to annihilating the alien invaders and saving the Earth.

It’s based on the book Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and their Battle For Speed and Glory at Le Mans, by A.J. Blaine, which recaps Ford’s challenge to Ferrari with a car designed Carroll Shelby.
This would be the first time that Pitt and Cruise have been in a film together since 1994’s Interview with a Vampire. They made a great team back then, and I imagine they will make a great team in this new film.
