Action Comics #1 Sells For $3.2 Million
We featured the auction on ebay a week ago, and suspected the final winning bid to go beyond $2 million, but 3 million! That is simply amazing.
The holy grail and the mona lisa of comics sold for a massive $3.2 million dollars after the bid closed on ebay this Sunday. Originally published in June 1938, Action Comics #1 is the premier issue of the Action Comics series, and most notably the issue in which Superman makes his first appearance.
