Sons of Anarchy‘ fans can expect the final epic season to kick-off with a bang! Series creator Kurt Sutter is well-known for his dramatic first episodes when a new season is released. We expect nothing less from Sutter, Jax and the MC with the first episode for the seventh and final season set to premiere on September 9 starting at 10 P.M. ET/PT. FX also announced that we are in for a one hour and 45 minutes episode, continuing around 10 days after the season 6 finale where Jax agreed to a deal that would put him behind bars to exonerate Tara as an accessory to murder. The epic first episode will be followed by a live post-show “Anarchy Afterword”, which is set to air again after the last episode later in season 7.

The much-anticipated final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ will also include the likes of Marilyn Manson, who officially joined the cast ensemble in a recurring role as a white supremacist. FX made the announcement on Thursday, May 29 that the 45-year-old rocker will take on the role as Ron Tully, an imprisoned “shot-caller” who Jax uses to expand his power base.

FX also released a first look at Manson while playing Tully. The rocker is featured without his signature makeup while sporting some new ink on his neck. Jax and Tully is seen sitting in the dining hall while they are surrounded by other inmates.

Manson will be joined by newcomer to the series, musician/actress Courtney Love. She will be playing a pivotal role as a preschool teacher of Jax’s eldest son, Abel. Annabeth Gish also joined the cast as Althea Jarry, described as a Stockton’s Organized Crime Unit vet who is “smart and edgy.” She replaces the former Sheriff, Eli Roosevelt.

It goes without saying geeks, finish season 6 before the new episode airs this September. The proverbial hits the fan more than once, with so many plot twists and deaths, it seems impossible to think that Sutter will leave anyone alive at the end of season 7.
