I believe a congratulations is in order since the huge announcement that Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first child with fiancé, Romain Dauriac. In the meantime geeks are wondering what’s going to happen to Black Widow in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.

A source close to E! News says we have nothing to worry about:

“They’re going to fast-track her scenes,”

Hopefully the superhero flick directed by Joss Whedon will not be delayed and all will continue as planned with the released date set for 1 May, 2015. The filming has started in Johannesburg with Action photography sequences shot throughout the city. Also have a look at the “Avengers: Age of Ultron” First Set Photos that was leaked during last month.

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson are expected to reprise their respective roles. James Spader will be taking on the role as the main villainous Ultron, Thomas Kretschmann is set to portray the secondary villain Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, Elizabeth Olsen will portray Scarlet Witch, and Aaron Johnson as her twin brother Quicksilver. Don Cheadle will suit up as War Machine to join forces with “The Avengers”.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” producer Kevin Feige revealed recently that Black Widow’s back-story will be explored in the sequel and he mentioned the possibility of the female spy’s own solo movie.

Feige said:

“[Black] Widow’s part in that is very big. We learn more about her past and learn more about where she came from and how she became in that film.”

“The notion of exploring that even further in her own film would be great, and we have some development work with that,”
