Vincent D’Onofrio (“Escape Plan”) has officially been cast as the villain in the hotly anticipated “Jurassic World”. “Life of Pi” star Irrfan Khan has also been selected for one of the coveted roles, but his role is being kept under wraps at present.  D’Onofrio and Khan joins Bryce Dallas Howard , Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and hopefully Chris Pratt as the cast ensemble for the dinosaur movie.

Pratt is rumored to join the cast as a rugged ex-military man. Ron Howard shared a photo of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard posing together on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards saying they would be co-stars. Director Colin Trevorrow has remained extremely tight-lipped about the storyline, but he did reveal a tidbit indicating that it’s a “new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park.”

‘Jurassic World’ is set to be released on June 12, 2015.
