Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson dropped another big clue as to what his role will be in his upcoming DC Comics movie. After his meeting with Warner Bros’ CEO to discuss an unnamed DC Comics project earlier this year, rumours were running rife as to who he may be playing. We tipped him as being John Stewart, a.k.a. The Green Lantern after more rumours made its way online.
Then came his below Instagram photo, with a very suspicious hashtag: “#JohnStewartCanStillWhupSupermansAss”
This makes it pretty obvious, and I guess we can start imagining The Rock in green tights chanting the oath! That hashtag also answers another big question, and that is whether The Rock’s Green Lantern will appear in Batman vs. Superman, Or will he be in the Justice League of America movie coming after Batman vs. Superman (which also has been rumoured)? Thus far we will have Batman vs. Superman vs. Wonder Woman vs. Green Lantern!

This is shaping up to be one massive movie!
“Man of Steel 2″ will hit theaters on July 17, 2015. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, Ben Affleck will make his debut as the caped crusader and Gal Gadot will take on the role as Wonder Woman.
The Rock can be seen next in the “Hercules: The Thracian Wars” due July 25 and he will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in “Fast and Furious 7“.
