Joaquin Phoenix
Variety reported that Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder are looking to cast Joaquin Phoenix in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman Movie! Apparently they are very early in the process of trying to get the actor on board. The question is, for which role? Lex Luthor? I really can’t picture a bald Joaquin Phoenix as Lex Luthor.
We doubt whether Joaquin will go for such a movie. Recently he’s been starring in movies that has more depth and meaning, which means he will have to be offered a lot of money to say yes to a movie such as Batman vs Superman.

Casting announcement for Lex Luther and Nightwing have not been confirmed to support any rumors making the rounds at the moment. The Plotline for the movie is still under wraps with no real indication of what to expect. The only tit bit was from Warner Bros. producer Daniel Alter, revealing that a semi-retired Bruce Wayne might be using robots to assist him.
Israeli actress/model Gal Gadot will take on the role as Wonder Woman. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman, while Ben Affleck is suiting up to take on the role as the Dark Knight for the first time. “Man of Steel 2” is set to be released on July 17, 2015.
