Slacktory is back with another funny creation. The “Star Wars Trailer: Derp Edition” is a carefully spliced blooper reel (shared a week ago) mashed up into the historic 1977 “Star Wars” trailer.

Slacktory’s  “Derp Edition” reminds me of the 1987 rip-off comedy “Spaceballs”, John Candy and Bill Pullman would be proud. I wonder if fans would have suited up and camped out in front of the box office to see the spectacle based on the comical trailer.

The “Derp Edition” is just as fun to watch and maybe even better with the funny bits more strategically placed for our entertainment. The clip was taken down for a while due to a copyright complaint, hope it’s still available for readers to enjoy.
