GeekShizzle posted an article last week announcing that the production team of the “Man of Steel” sequel will be filming a game between Gotham City University and its rival Metropolis State University. The internet has been flooded with hand cam footage, capturing some of the events that took place on the day.
Director Zack Snyder was on set to shoot the football game scene which took place during the halftime break of a real Husky football game between East Los Angeles College and Victor Valley College on Saturday, October 19 at the Weingart stadium.
The sequel to “Man of Steel will feature Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman and newcomer Ben Affleck as Batman. The much anticipated sequel is due to hit theatres on July 17, 2015.
