Vin Diesel recently took the time to remember his late friend and co-star Paul Walker while presenting the Best Female Performance Award at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. The buff actor sang some lyrics from Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” which is featured on the official soundtrack of the brand new film released in the Fast and Furious franchise. “Furious 7” enjoyed a massive opening last week and its soundtrack album jumped to No. 2 on Billboard 200. “See You Again” is currently at to No. 10 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
The song played as Diesel entered the stage, he said:
“Last time I stood on this stage, I was with my brother Pablo, so I love that little intro, you just played that song, that beautiful song,”
Walker died with his good friend Roger Rodas on November 30 in a single car accident in Santa Clarita when the Porsche Carrera GT driven by Rodas hit a tree at 100 miles per hour. The James Wan directed movie was put on hold as the script was getting revised.
