It’s   about time we give an update and our unfiltered opinion on the upcoming Justice League movie. Last time we looked at this it was before any trailer was released and not much footage was available. Since then we have not 1 but two trailers and a truck load of images.

So let’s get down to it.

“Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash -— it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Batman is recruiting heroes for some evil that is coming, which we can with pretty good certainty say is Darkseid. If you want to know more about this extreme villain then check  here (He’s the equivalent of Marvel’s Thanos. See our viral Who can kill Thanos post).  The list of heroes include Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, Flash and  possibly Superman who’ll join right at the end, kill Darkseid and save the day.

But behind the scenes the Movie’s seen its share of controversial news. Superman’s mom played by actress Diane Lane was a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and was asked if she could reveal any Justice League movie spoilers and if the movie was better than The Avengers. She gave the following reply that stirred up a little controversy among fans:

“No, and no. Short but honest – I hate to disappoint, but…”

This was taken in the context of “no” she could not reveal any spoilers, and “no” Justice League is not better than The Avengers. That was followed by “I hate to disappoint”, which was taken as “I hate to disappoint, but it’s the truth.”

Well, the actress has issued a statement through her representatives clarifying these comments. That statement reads:”Diane meant “sorry to disappoint” in reference to revealing anything concerning ‘Justice League’ that is not already out in the public, and, was declining to comment on a film (Avengers) that she has not seen. She is thrilled to continue her role as Martha Kent, and appreciates your excitement for Justice League. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to clarify this.”

So there you have it. Before he get into the next bit of controversial news, here’s  the two trailers combines in 1 video: Justice League Movie Update, Scene Reshoots and other concerns:

The next bit of news are all about the reshoots. Yes  reshoots. Apparently there’s  so many reshoots of scenes happening they would have essentially made the movie twice. Now we know that re-shoots are a normal part of the Hollywood film-making process. Remember that the reason for these re-shoots is to make the film better, not worse. Same thing happened with Rogue One: A Star Wars StorytThen the movie came out and it was awesome! We really hope that’s the case for Justice League.

The source reporting these reshoots go on to say that Warner Bros. is putting “everything it has into overhauling the movie”. Apparently, they didn’t like what they were seeing and they want to make sure everything gets fixed before the movie is released. The studio wants this to be a great movie; they don’t want to be trashed by critics and fans again. They want this movie not only to succeed at the box office, but they also want critics and fans to love it.

“There are more re-shoots COMING SOON. There have been a bunch but they’re going to do MORE.”

Let’s hope it is for the better…
