PG and Redband Trailers Released for Long-Awaited ‘Deadpool’ Movie - GeekShizzle

Check out one of the most anticipated movie trailers of the year as we get to so see Ryan Reynolds’s Wade Wilson aka Deadpool take on the baddies in a super badass redband trailer. The PG trailer was previously launched at Comic-Con in San Diego this year featuring the merc with a mouth fighting and delivering some quick quipped lines. We have already marked our calendars for this one as we finally get to see Deadpool unleashed in a blood gushing comic book movie worthy of a decent big screen release.

The anti-hero jokingly says at one point:

“Wait! You maybe wondering why the red suit. Well, that’s so bad guys can’t see me bleeding,”

There is also a glimpse at his origin story with the opening scene explaining how Deadpool received his identity. Wade Wilson was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and following a series of processes done as an experiment, Deadpool was born.

He was asked to take part in the transformation as a character in the trailer says

“What if I told you we can make you better? You’re a fighter, we can give you abilities most men only dream of. Make you a superhero,”

The film opens February 12, 2016, and also stars Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Brianna Hildebrand, and Gina Carano.

Here’s the official synopsis for Deadpool:

“Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.”
