Awesome Star Craft Zerg Rush Short Film
This is without a doubt the best Star Craft short-film we’ve ever seen! Freddie Wong released his new short film produced by his Rocket Jump production company called “The Rush.” It’s an intense Star Craft fan film that ended up being a lot darker than I was expecting. It’s a great film with awesome production value that fans of the game are sure to love.
The title of the short was inspired by a term used in the came by players called “Zerg Rush.” It’s a strategy that gamers use in which they create as many units as possible at a fast pace in order to attack their opponents before they can fully mobilize. The short film highlights the effectiveness and brutality of this strategy. We’ve all wondered what it would be like during a Zerg rush.. well now we know.
The film stars Ellary Porterfield and Nico David, and it was co-directed by Wong and Matthew Arnold. Let us know what you think of the short after you watch it!
