If there is a battle for the game of the year in 2015 (Witcher and Fallout 4) then surely the top contender for 2016 will be Uncharted 4. During the Sony E3 2015 press conference we got a new look at Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It’s looking like this is going to be the final game in the franchise. This has been one of the best written and most entertaining video game franchises that we’ve ever played.
We have a promo spot for the game along with demo featuring over seven-minutes of gameplay awesomeness. The demo offers us a look at the beginning of “the ultimate car chase.” Prepare to be amazed!
Here are some additional details released for the game:
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.\\
The official Naughty Dog website adds the following statement regarding the footage they showed off during the event:
It’s very rewarding to finally show off all of our hard work on this new section of Drake’s escapades, set in a meticulously crafted, fictional, Madagascan city, and re-introducing his old friend and mentor, Victor Sullivan. Yes, in addition to his new, wild, rope swinging acrobatics, Nathan Drake will be able to drive various vehicles for the first time ever in franchise history. This is the most action-packed demo we’ve ever assembled for E3.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available in 2016, and it looks like another epic adventure!
