The biographical war drama collected an estimated $31.9 million domestically on Super Bowl Weekend. Officially standing as the highest grossing flick over Super Bowl weekend, “American Sniper” is showing no signs of slowing down. The record was previously held by 2008’s “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour” with $31.1 million.
