There is much to look forward to with director David Ayer behind the wheel of DC’s upcoming “Suicide Squad” . Promising to be “a Dirty Dozen with supervillains” according to the helmer, all is set to be revealed soon but we are still waiting for the cast to be announced. We expect Ayer to bring another edgy production to the table, so hopefully the comic book adaptation will attract the right talent for the job. The Hollywood rumor machine spat out a couple of names from the DC Universe to expect as the unlikely heroes. Blockbuster the strongman, Multiplex the human replicator, Jaculi the speedster, Harkness a.k.a. Captain Boomerang, Vixen who has animal abilities and Deadshot the lethal assassin has been mentioned so far. Click HERE to check out descriptions for the characters.
Rumor Watch: Suicide Squad Casting Update
There are a couple of names dropped in the hat to take on the coveted roles, but no confirmations have been received. The film will tell the story of a group of convicted villains in the DC Comics Universe who were given a second chance for redemption.
The following actors are on the casting lists:
Cara Delevingne, Jesse Eisenberg, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Tom Hardy and Ryan Gosling

It goes without saying that nothing has been confirmed just yet, but GS will keep you posted. The DC Comics supervillain team movie will be scripted by Justin Marks. Dan Lin (“The Lego Movie”) will serve as a producer. No release date has been confirmed just yet.
