FOX ordered a Sci-Fi drama pilot based on dr. Frankstein’s hideous creation. The series aptly titled “Frankenstein”, will be under the watchful eye of “Crisis” and “Life” creator Rand Ravich. He will be teaming up with Howard Gordon to bring to life a new show inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic monster tale.
‘Frankenstein’ Series in the Works at FOX
Deadline says we can expect the following:
“Frankenstein centers on Adam Tremble, a morally corrupt FBI agent who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Tremble will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose — dealing with threats beyond the FBI’s capabilities. All the while navigating the complicated relationship with his “creators”: an antisocial Internet billionaire and his bio-engineer twin sister.”
The put pilot commitment from Fox leaves us extremely intrigued to see what the fuss is about. Calling it “Frankenstein” is a bit risky considering it bears very little resemblance to the actual tale, but we’ll go with it for now and check out what Fox has to offer.
