A new epic trailer for “Exodus: Gods and Kings” has been released for viewing pleasure. The biblical drama is helmed by legendary director Ridley Scott (“Robin Hood”, “Alien”). In the Book of Exodus, Moses was born as a Hebrew at a time when the Pharaoh had commanded that male Hebrew children be drowned. The infant Moses was set adrift on the Nile in a basket, rescued by the Pharaoh’s daughter and raised in the royal family as a brother to the future Pharoah. According to the Biblical story, the adult Moses was commanded by God to go to Egypt and deliver the Hebrews from bondage.

In the new visuals released, we can see Moses (Christian Bale) leading 600 000 slaves on a monumental journey to freedom. Egypt in tormented by the cycle of deadly plagues, while Moses and his followers take on the epic journey to reach the red sea. Pharoah (Joel Edgerton) is seeking revenge and he will not rest until he finds and punishes Moses for his betrayal. Bale and Edgerton is supported by Ben KingsleyAaron Paul, and Sigourney Weaver. The movie  is set to be released on December 12, 2014.
