Marvel’s “Black Widow” is receiving a fair amount of attention as of late, and it seems that the possibility of a big screen movie for the sexy vixen might just happen. Even Marvel comic book godfather Stan Lee chimed in to share his thought on possibilities of a big screen adaptation for the super heroines.

Stan Lee Says ‘Black Widow’ Will Have Her Own Movie

While attending the Fan Expo Canada on Friday, August 29, the former president and chairman of Marvel said:

“We haven’t made a Black Widow movie but she’s been in some of our movies, and she will be featured more prominently as we move forward,”

“And the chances are she will have her own movie because eventually all the superheroes are going to have their own movies. They are already working on Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and the Black Panther and there are others I am not allowed to talk about.”

Game of Thrones” and “Centurion” director Neil Marshall also recently revealed that he is very keen to take on the helming duties for a “Black Widow” solo movie. Black Widow depicter Scarlett Johansson lined up this opportunity by super charging her career with Marvel’s “Captain America: Winter Soldier” and her mega million hit “Lucy”. It seems highly unlikely that a solo movie for the heroines will be making its way to the big screen soon, especially with “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on the way featuring the attractive spy. Who knows what Marvel is brewing lately with Stan “The Man” claiming that even the Black Panther will be making his debut in the Marvel cinematic universe. They might just surprise us with a “Black Widow” movie after all.
