It’s great to see how Blizzard’s costume competitions have grown over the years. The contestants go through to rigorous effort on creating their costumes. And with the wealth of characters and lore to choose form each year brings with it a unique selection of contestants. The prises are also worth mentioning. Winners walk away from some pretty cool Blizzard gear, with the 1st place being an all expense trip paid for by Blizzard to the next Blizzcon.
Blizzard Costume Winners 2014:
In the end, it all came down to three. In third place, winning a SteelSeries mouse, was Ann-Kathrin Kuehner for her portrayal of Cydaea, Mistress of Pain from Diablo universe.
Second-place winner Laura Jansen took home an awesome AlienWare X51 gaming PC, courtesy of our sponsor Dell, for her representation of Maghda from Diablo universe.
And in first place was Pierre-Alexandre Geraert for the creation of the judges’ favorite costume of the bunch—a hunter in Gronnstalker’s Armor from World of Warcraft. He was awarded the top prize of an all-expenses-paid trip for two to BlizzCon 2014, taking place November 7-8 in Anaheim, California! This grand prize is provided by Blizzard and our sponsor PayPal.
Who wouldn’t want that 1st prize? Wow…Congratulations to all the winners!
