It’s interesting how quickly “The Hateful Eight” bounced back from the script leak to miraculously recover with a script rewrite, and now a teaser to be released with “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For”. This is awesome news considering the whole Gawker lawsuit and the fact that “The Hateful Eight” almost did not make it. Deadline.com reports that a teaser trailer will be attached to Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” set to be released next week. It was also noted that we might see a CGI clip or footage shot specifically for this trailer to be released. There is currently no footage available to launch a teaser, so expect a lot of secrecy till the teaser is revealed next week.

‘The Hateful Eight’

No official casting announcement has been made, but we have to assume that the actors who attended the star-studded reading at a hotel in Los Angeles on April 19 will be included. Samuel L. Jackson took on the role of Major Marquis Warren, Bruce Dern as Confederate General Smithers, Kurt Russell as a bounty hunter named John Ruth and Amber Tamblyn as his prisoner Daisy Domergue. Two time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will not be teaming up with Tarantino for a third time after his award-winning performances in “Inglorious Basterds” and “Django Unchained.”

The story revolves around “the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.”

Filming is set to begin next year, no release date has been set.
