We knew when Zack Snyder defended Aquaman in a recent radio interview that there was more to it. And rumours are now confirmed with Warner Bros. sitting with  two Aquaman scripts in development. The Hollywood Reporter today brings word that Will Beall (Gangster Squad) is working on one version while Kurt Johnstad (300: Rise of an Empire) is doing another. The plan is said to be to develop both scripts in tandem until a decision can be made as to which version will ultimately head to the big screen.

Aquaman went on to become a founding member of the Justice League of America. Although the character has never made it to the big screen before, Jason Momoa is all but confirmed to appear as Aquaman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Can we also expect to see him in the confirmed Justice League film?
