It is almost impossible to go through a week without spinning at least one of my favorite Chevelle CD’s to blow of some steam. The American alternative metal band has fine-tuned their unique sound over the last 19 years to proudly stand as one of the best acts to follow in the world today. They have produced albums that are best described as absolute gems, the kind of fail-safe tunes that always win the pick of the crop if you need a pick me up. It is truly a pleasure to introduce this band to any rock fans that are seeking something fresh and definitely alternative to what’s out there. Some critics often compare Chevelle to one of our other favorite bands, Tool, fronted by the very creative Maynard James Keenan.

The band formed in 1995 in Illinois, Chicago, composed of brothers Pete Loeffler (lead vocals and guitar), Sam Loeffler (drums and percussion) and Joe Loeffler (bass and backing vocals). Joe was replaced in 2005 by Pete and Sam’s brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini. Still keeping the good vibes in the family, Chevelle sold over four million albums in the United States to date. Their newest album, La Gárgola, was released on April 1, 2014.
