Geeks following our blog will remember the news about a possible ‘Transporter‘ franchise reboot. Even though no one wants to see this franchise receive the reboot treatment, it is official now that Ed Skrein will replace Jason Statham in a new trilogy starting with “The Transporter Legacy” in 2015. The first installment will hit theatres as early as March 6, 2015! The reboot will return to the French Riviera with Frank Martin on the job as goods transporter. The movie will give more depth to Martin’s back-story, set to explore the relationship with his father. Skrein’s Martin also crosses paths with Anna (Loan Chabanol) when they are forced to team up to take down a group of Russian human traffickers.

“The Transporter Legacy” will face-off against Neill Blomkamp’s “Chappie” in March next year.
