Screenwriter/producer Simon Kinberg says Evan Peters is expected to reprise his role as Pietro Maximoff a.k.a Quicksilver for the sequel to “X-Men: Days of Future Past“. Kinberg confirmed Peters’ return in a new interview with Total Film, and he also mentions they were not aware he will be included in Disney/Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron“:
“It wasn’t something we anticipated, because we didn’t know they were using him in the Avengers movie,”
“We only found that out … it got publicized, I think, weeks after we’d made the decision, after we’d done it.”
Scarlet Witch (Quicksilver’s twin sister) was set to make an appearance in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”, however she was cut from the pic. It is still unclear if we will we see her in “X-Men: Apocalypse“. Geeks are gearing up for the hotly anticipated “Days of Future Past” set to be released on May 23. “Apocalypse” will follow almost exactly two year later on May 27, 2016.
