The Peter Pan movie cast is heating up with the announcement that Victoria’s Secret model Cara Delevingne is in talks for a small role in the live-action adaptation of Peter Pan. Sources also reveal that the sexy lingerie model is set to play a mermaid. Not much has been revealed about her mermaid character but we are sure anything involving seashell cups are fine!

Delevingne joins recently confirmed Amanda Seyfried who is set to join the cast ensemble as Mary. The new take on the classic tale is set during WWII and follows an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he’s destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard. “Hanna” director Joe Wright will serve behind the lens, with a script penned by Jason Fuchs. Greg Berlanti is producing under his Berlanti Productions banner while Sarah Schechter will oversee for the studio. Peter Pan is set to be released on July 17, 2015.

Delevingne can be seen next in psychological thriller “The Face of an Angel” which is inspired by the real-life story of Amanda Knox. She is also in talks to take on a role in period romance movie “Tulip Fever” for The Weinstein Company.
