This is a must see if the first trailer is anything to go by! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can be seen in the first official trailer as the legendary demigod as he defends himself against hideous beasts. In one scene we can see “Hercules” take on a huge lion as previously revealed in the first sneak peek. This time round the new footage also features the legendary warrior taking on a creature with multiple heads, and in other scenes he is featured taking down a huge warthog (on steroids!).

The epic trailer begins with a voiceover:

“No matter how far you go, man cannot escape his fate,” the trailer begins with a voiceover. “Who are you? Are you a murderer? Are you a mercenary who turns his back on the innocent?”

It continues:

“We believe in you. We have faith in you. Remember the deeds you have performed. The labors you have accomplished. Are you only the legend, or are you the truth behind the legend?”

Synopsis for “Hercules”:

“Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend… Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.”
