FX released a teaser for it coming small screen adaptation of “Fargo”. The limited series stars Martin Freeman who is seen for the first time with co-star Billy Bob Thornton. The show is based on the Coen brothers’ 1996 crime film that tells the story of Lester (Freeman), a small-town insurance salesman who finds himself in troubled times when he meets Lorne Malvo (Thornton), a rootless and manipulative character. In the teaser Malvo suggests that Lester should kill the man who tortures him.

The drama series is set for 10-episodes, featuring an all-new “true crime” story. Freeman and Thornton is supported by Colin Hanks as Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly, Allison Tolman as Molly Solverson the deputy, Glenn Howerton as Don Chumph, Adam Goldberg as Mr. Numbers and Oliver Platt as Stavros Milos, as well as Bob Odenkirk as Bill Olson.

The series will debut on April 15 at 10 P.M on FX.
